BUT OF COURSE THE CHAPTER HAD TO CLOSE ON SUCH A CLIFF-HANGER. Chapter three has come to an end and I’m excited for chapter 4 to pop up! I was hoping that this was going to be the chapter to get people talking, y’know? Just speculating, maybe bring in more readers? But it seems like things went down and that’s ok. I know I have a few lurkers here and there and I guess maybe this chapter was most exciting for me because I love the type of stories where people solve crimes/work out the missing pieces/etc.

I like Adam’s thoughts and I promise you these will definitely get answered next chapter. Next week is the last page for chapter 3 and then we’ll be going onto a hiatus and I think we’re coming back in October? SOMEWHERE AROUND THERE. I forgot already lmao – which btw, regarding Adam’s dialogue, so the conversation he’s stating, happened between Evina and Timothy and Adam listened in on the recorder, originally this whole exchange was going to be in the comic but because Adam was going to go over it with Evina, I thought it would be okay to cut it out and reduce the page count. HOWEVER, I’m kind of second-guessing my decision on that and thinking I might actually add those pages in for the print version.
Also I updated the character sheet last week?? I think?? But Kurtis’ mom is up there and I changed Adam’s pic. Next chapter all of the portraits (except Belladonna’s and MAYBE Hel’s) will be getting updated.
Ah yes, the days where Evina would beat the crap out of you to get info. Among other things. Honestly, she’d probably still beat the crap out of people. Let’s be honest. Oh yeah, I know I’ve said this before, BUT, SCORNED’s chapter 3 is completed on patreon and we still got 2 pages left before the chapter completes here. I’ve also posted bundles with all wips for chapter 4! From sketches to final renders! Yeah, he was bound to flip out at some point. Evina is just… she’s got some tactics. They work. Or at least she’s satisfied with her answer it seems. But I just love Adam in the background panicking, worrying that Kurtis is going to stomp Evina’s face in lmao, I also really like that I included that Adam called her a bitch :’D
So recently I had my practical exam for my pastry class and I passed :DDDD I failed the written test because my brain can’t remember shit BUUUUT I think it’s really great that I passed more or less the “performance” part. Now this next part of my pastry class we’re meant to be going in to learn about bread, which is exciting! Anyway, that’s all I have to report!
That was me when I was writing this script. I just felt so icky. I think this was one of the pages I was dreading the most when it came to writing because I was just like “this is gross, I hate myself right now and I’m sure my readers will never look at me the same” – luckily on patreon, some people said they get it and understand the tactic.
Anyway, I am slowly moving along with chp.4! I’m so excited. We’re finally gonna start going back to double updates with chapter 4! Well… occasional double updates. I plan to do it where only pages that seems to connect to each other will be a double update week. Aaaand I’m pretty sure chapter 4 is the very last chapter to volume 1?? I could be wrong. There’s always going to be some edits here and there. I know I definitely want to fix up chapter 1 and chapter 2 before print and maybe do some things here and there for chapter 3. I also have to complete the “in between” chapters. The little mini filler chapters to help cover more ground, something that happened in the story but wasn’t necessary for the audience, but gives a little bit of a deeper connection, I think. I do believe that before I finish those up, I think it would be best for me to actually edit whatever chapters I want for print to make sure the “in between” chapters make sense. Such as, for chapter 1, I actually want to edit the story around a little which could affect the filler chapter for it, for chapter 2 I want to also do some story editing, but not too much.
ANYWAY, I’m rambling. I know I’ll probably go into this wayyyy into the future!!

I know one update per week and the few weeks that I missed updating probably doesn’t help.
I did mention to my patrons that I’m hoping with chapter 4 I will be able to do occasional double updates, updates where it makes sense, such as let’s say a fight sequence or a continuous argument that’s really important to the story, etc.
I have fallen behind with my buffer, so I guess I’ll see if I can still offer that up for next chapter, no promises. But I am slowly working back on it again. I’ve actually made a few edits to chapter 4 which I think will hold everything together a little better and also offer up more answers! Especially since there’s a high chance chapter 4 will be the final chapter for volume one!

Hello! It’s been so long since I updated. I didn’t really go on a hiatus, I’ve just been in a bad place with my mental health so I kind of poofed out of existence for a bit. I haven’t touched my comic in like 2 months and I’m slowly trying to go back into it and I’ve also been slowly working on comms. Unfortunately my stylus seems to be having some major sensitivity problems and I don’t know how to fix it. So I’ve just been even more BLEGH with that as it’s causing a massive delay in a lot of my art.
I’m hoping to just get back into it regardless and power through all of these emotions and the sucky stylus.
Culinary school has started for me and that has been super fun. I made a new personal FB and posted a bunch of pictures of our creations there.
