Ah! Here’s the end of the prologue.  Hope you guys enjoyed it.  When writing the prologue for Hel’s Ferrywomen I wanted to keep it short and to the point.
When I wrote Scarred Eden’s prologue I kind of felt like it wasn’t as direct as it should have been… Normally prologues should give the reader a good idea of what adventure they’ll be taking on as well as keep it entertaining and to the point. So I hope I managed to pull this off with Hel’s Ferrywomen. Next week there won’t be any updates but the following week we’ll jump in with chapter 1. 🙂
BTW, I hope you guys like the minor editing I’ve been doing to the site. I didn’t like the pitch black background so I gave a dark greyish one instead, I think it looks far better than having pure white text clash against the black bg. Lemme know what you think 🙂

My husbun pre-ordered this for me back in December and it finally arrived like a week ago so he gave it to me while we were away for his birthday, and UGH I love it so much. I love Baby Yoda (yes I know it’s actually called The Child but I prefer Baby Yoda) ugh so cute ;-;

BTW, next week I’ll be updating on Thursday, I’ll be gone from Monday – Thursday morning so I’ll be back in the late afternoon to update, I’ll be away for my husbun’s birthday (finally getting together after being almost… what? 4 months apart?? I think our last get together was Valentine’s Day, we didn’t even get to celebrate our 3rd year being together physically, but we did play a few games online so that was cool. Quarantine sucked, major props to Military husbands and wives that go through this and a bigger praise to our Military who has to leave home ;-;)

I hated doing the background because I don’t enjoy drawing random characters who I’ll most likely NEVER use again. We’ll see. You never know, right?
So… that might explain why on one side of the church we’ve got a full set of people and on the other side it’s a bunch of shadow people lol. But it is something I’m definitely  looking to work on in the future 😀
I did want the fight between Hel and the ghoul girl, Emilia to be the main focus as well as Hel’s words/thoughts. Just… seems far more important that characters I might never use.

BTW- over the weekend I’ll be looking into adding a “lore” page to the site, because in Hel’s Ferrywomen I’ve created my lore a little differently, I do plan for it it to be in alphabetical order but obviously whatever appears first in the comic will be added first and slowly edited to fit its order over time… sooooo next week you might see a lore page with “Ghouls” involved. 😉

When I imagined a ghoul the first thing that came to mind were The Witcher’s ghouls but uh, I wanted mine to look more like zombies that were just strong and more… put together?
Because we all know zombies be falling apart everywhere over time. D:

It feels totally weird uploading your pages to your own official site. This is honestly kind of exciting. :)))
